West K9 Ranch is dedicated to providing your furry friend the top level of care. Your pooch will be spoiled with us whether it be chilling in the luxury dog lodge or running it out with buddies in the leisure paddock. We are a Daycare and don't offer overnight boarding.

Day care
We work hard to make sure your pet feels comfortable and relaxed. Having a limited number of dogs attend per day, we ensure they will receive the best personal care and attention. Their wellbeing is central to everything we do.

Joining West K9 Ranch
All new dogs wishing to join will be assessed at the daycare free of charge. This is to make sure they will fit in and be happy with us and the other members. We can only accept social and friendly dogs and are very strict on this. Your pet’s happiness is our number one priority. We always treat our doggy members with kindness and patience. And we never charge extra for snuggles - it’s included.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will you supply meals at daycare?
If your pooch receives 3 or more meals a day we understand they may need to be fed whilst with us. We are more than happy to give your dog their meal if you supply us with a prepared packed lunch. This ensures their diet and routine stays the same. We have a refrigerator too for those who have fresh or raw diets. You don't need to bring along a bowl as we have plenty clean bowls for your pooches to use. Likewise if breakfast wasn't finished because they were too excited to get to daycare, pop the meal in a container or freezer bag and we will make sure they get that most important meal of the day.
Does my dog need vaccinations to attend daycare?
Yes we do require all dogs attending to be fully vaccinated (DHPPi & Lepto) and also be vaccinated against the highly infectious kennel cough. We will ask to see vaccination cards prior to attending daycare. We also ask your pet is routinely wormed (3 monthly) and treated for fleas (1-2 monthly).
Do you offer training classes?
We don't offer training classes as such at the moment but are happy to assist with any basic training you're applying at home and continue implementing while with us at day care. We educate on a reward basis, firmly believing that learning should be fun and enjoyable for all pooches.
Can I stop by to see the daycare?
If you get in contact with us we can arrange for a free trial which will let you check out our facilities and we can assess your pooches suitability for daycare to ensure they will be happy here with us at West K9 Country Club. Please note viewing is by appointment only.
Does my dog have to be neutered to attend?
We are not taking on any more unneutered males. This may change again in the future but for now new males attending must be neutered. Females are accepted spayed or unspayed. Females are asked not to attend when in season.
Do you offer overnight boarding?
At the moment we only offer day care Monday to Friday.
Do you offer half days
From January 28th 2024 we will no longer offer half days for dogs. You can still bring your dog along for as long as you wish through out the day.
Do you offer late nights or weekend care?
Our open times are 7.30am till 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
How soon can my puppy attend daycare?
We ask that pups are fully vaccinated, kennel cough vaccinated and fully house trained before attending daycare. Our younger pups get extra nap times especially when in for more than a few hours.
What breed of dogs do you allow
From summer 2023 we can't take on any more large breed dogs but can accept friendly and social medium and small breeds.
Are you currently taking on anymore dogs?
We do have some limited spaces for new dogs to join us. Requirements as of 2024: Dog would need to be of a small or medium breed, fully house trained and up to date with all vaccinations incl kennel cough. If male must be neutured and most importantly dog must be social and friendly and never have displayed aggression towards another dog or human.
